Are you waking up each morning, or in the middle of the night with a sense of panic or general anxiety? How long will this last? Will there be jobs? Will I be laid off? Do you feel a sense of grief and loss? If you are struggling with cycling concerns about your finances, the economy, your health, the health of your loved ones or the health and safety of those less fortunate than you, this support group is for you. Topics will range from boundary setting with friends, family and roommates for privacy and safety concerns to establishing and negotiating routines with partners. This is a peer support group guided by a trained psychotherapist to navigate our collective and individual concerns.
The group will meet weekly for 60 minutes for 8 consecutive weeks to discuss these concerns as well as provide tools and resources to help members draw upon and build resilience through this period of heightened uncertainty and dramatic change. Resilience is defined as the ability to bounce back and thrive in the face of challenge and adversity. Together, we can do this.
