Jessica is a lawyer and strategic management professional with expertise in operations, recruitment, financial management, and program management within startups, growing organizations, nonprofits, and social enterprises. Jessica’s commitment to social purpose most recently brought her to leadership roles at Mouse (a nonprofit dedicated to diversity in STEM education), Women’s March Global (an independent nonprofit defending women’s human rights), and Civic Hall (a social enterprise and nonprofit collaborative community of civic tech innovators).
Jessica’s background includes over 20 years of consulting with creatively- or technology-driven businesses and as an entrepreneur as the managing partner of the preeminent recruitment firm, Roz Goldfarb Associates, where she started its Digital Media division. Jessica served in the Clinton Administration as an employment and technology policy advisor to Vice President Gore, the Labor Department, and The National Commission for Employment Policy. She is an employment lawyer with experience in mediation, arbitration, and investigations, and began her career in practice at the Proskauer firm in NYC. Jessica has written for professional publications and regularly engages in volunteer and pro bono efforts via professional, nonprofit, and political organizations. Her interests include wellness, yoga, and incorporating mindfulness and neuroscience approaches to personal challenges and professional environments.
