What you'll learn

Historically, the counseling profession has largely ignored the spiritual orientation of clients. However, ignoring their spirituality is to ignore an integral part of many of our clients’ lives. These presentations provide training in the ethical considerations of spiritual integration, explore various interventions to be used with clients, offer recommendations and guidelines for implementation, and identify specific steps for quality documentation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understanding the value and use of spirituality in clinical practice.
  2. Understanding key ethical considerations for spiritual integration.
  3. Identify at least two (2) strategies for implementing spiritual interventions effectively.

Co-sponsored by Amedco and Resilience Lab; Amedoco is approved by APA, ASWB, NY SW, NY MHC, NY PSY, and NY MFTs to offer continuing education programming. 3 CEs available to licensed psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and mental health counselors upon successful completion of this virtual training.
