The series begins with an orientation to DBT and an introduction to each other. Each week focuses on a skill from the 4 modules: Interpersonal Effectiveness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Mindfulness of DBT or Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The session begins with a grounding mindfulness exercise, then a review of the week’s homework as it was practiced in each member’s life, then learning the next skill, then a closing exercise.


This group runs for 8 weeks, each session is $75 and each member agrees to commit to the series.

There is an intake session that takes place for new members before the start of the group which is 45 minutes and $75. This allows for important medical history to be taken and ensures that the group will be cohesive.
